Rest in Peace

It was late at night when I went to take a look at my kittens. I found only one kitten in the cage. Thinking that the other kitten might be kept somewhere, I went to talk to my mom. She told me that one of the kittens was dead. It was found dead in the storeroom that morning.

I told her that three nights ago, before I turned in, I heard cats quarreling/fighting in the storeroom. I did not think that the cats would be our kittens because the kittens are always kept in the cage, so I did not bother to go to the storeroom to take a room. Its death was still a mystery. We could not find any evidence or clues what might kill it. It was a disaster for all of us.
