Middle Fingers?

She went to pet centre and got a cut there from a beautiful cat. She was playing with the cat with her handphone's accessory when the cat accidentally (was it?) scratched one of her fingers on the right.

Her dad asked her to get him an iced-water. When she was trying to lift this immense bloke of ice, she knocked one of her fingers on the left.

I know this is not captivating at all but, the funny thing is...

..both the fingers that got cut are the middle fingers for each hand!
