Famous Pan Mee at Restaurant Kin Kin

Santa Claus was one day late to deliver his present to the boyfriend. Also, due to unforeseen circumstances, the delivery was delayed one hour. However, it is still worth the wait. The boyfriend hugged his present so tight that he would not want to let it go.

I believe most of us had a great Christmas this year, be it with your family, friends or your girl/boyfriends. I had a great one but it was after Christmas :D

I started my day with collecting my parcel from Pos Malaysia before we to Chow Kit Road to try the famous ‘Pan Mee’ at Restaurant Kin Kin.

There were many people so I believe this restaurant is truly famous for its Pan Mee. I like it but the Chili is very spicy for me if I had put too much. You should go and try it out as well. They have another branch at Pandan Indah.

Home?

The connection sucks that I had a hard time to update my blog.

In fact, there is nothing to update! I really had a great holiday. I spent all day hanging around at home with my mother and of course, my brother. Well, I only spent 5 days with my mother during my last semester break and also, it has been 10 months since the last time I see my brother. And, it does feel great to be with my them apart from those troubles and arguments that my dad caused.

However, I am very upset for not having a place that called home. Well, currently we are staying in a rented house. I am envious of those who have a proper place to settle down with their families. Believe me, you would not like it to be moving around from places to places like Nomad

And because of that, I am very disappointed with my father. He has money to buy SO many cars and why not he buy a HOUSE first? That CHINA SLUT has a 5-star condominium and US? Being a Nomad! Therefore, not only he is an irresponsible husband but he is also an irresponsible MAN in the family. He is not always at home other than coming back to sleep. What is he thinking? Taking our home as a hotel? Mind you, this including weekends! And note that, we never had a family dinner at home. Lunch, I still can understand. But dinner! This includes weekends as well. It it as if he is not part of the family anymore. Yeah, he is DEFINTELY outside with that China Slut! Nevertheless, I really do not understand. He is already in his 40s and he is still that childish (ie. love love, sweet sweet)? C’mon! He is going to be a grandfather soon. I do not wish my children to have SUCH grandfather.

Sigh, my family is in a mess. That is why I am not as excited as the previous years when I have to go back to my hometown. I do not want to come back here because I do not see the point of coming back.

Maybe, I should consider a new definition of home as a place where my mother and my siblings are. No, he is DEFINITELY not in the list.

Online, finally!

It has been a few days since I came back to Kuching. My family had moved to a new home. Therefore, there is no internet connection until the day that I managed to upload this post :)

I believe You miss me a lot, right?

Farewell Dinner

My friends organized a farewell dinner for me last Sunday. Initial plan was to have a steamboat in KL but we ended up in Bora Asmara in Damansara (if I am not mistaken). The place is nice. However, if you had seen Ag’s pm in MSN for the past few days, you should be able to know that the food is not worth the money.

Among eight of us, I ordered the best beverage, French Berry Lemonade, but I ordered the worst food, Mak Udon’s something.

When I went to the washroom after dinner, I bumped into this cute and fat cat :)

Ain’t it cute?

After dinner, it was already in the plan to watch Transporter 3 together at Cathay Cineleisure Damansara. Seeing that we still have extra time, we strolled around The Curve. Starhill is celebrating White Christmas while Sunway Pyramid is celebrating Red Christmas. As for The Curve, they are celebrating Green Christmas :) What Christmas do you want to celebrate at home then?

Having Vic not being able to pick me up to the event, I called Charlie. He is really kind to give me a ride.

and all the past and current Member Committee President of Malaysia

It was the worst night ever. Somehow or rather, after I had my dinner, I was not feeling well and there goes my food, into the toilet bowl –__- RM65, a bit wasted lar.

Beauty Pageants are Bullshit!

I will be whining here so, you think you can handle it?

Think twice.

Alright then.

I believe most of us realise that in reality shows such as beauty pageants and such, all we see are those skinny and slim young ladies on the line. The shows keep telling us that they are searching for the one with both inner and outer beauty. In fact, for me, those are bullshit!

How the crap do you get to judge a person's inner beauty when you are just sitting there, watching some video clips and listen to whatever craps the girls said? A psychologist or something? Just get to the point and tell the whole world that you are looking for the one who is pretty and slim. What you said to the world may hurt a lady, not that slim but with an inner beauty, who went for the audition and got kicked because 'Omg! Look at your size! What makes you think you are the one?'

That sucks to the MAX!

Maybe because of those reality shows, there are girls who undergo some serious unhealthy diet and ended up in a hospital. Or maybe, they got so depressed that they do not want to face the world again and ended up seeing a psychiatrist. Or they would even wished they were never been born into this world and ended up in a coffin the next day.

I don't know about you but I feel there is a serious discrimination over here. I know and I am very well aware that I envy them being pretty and slim and flaunting it here and there as if they are the most beautiful thing people could have ever seen but you know what? I actually contemplated on joining such reality shows to prove to the world that young ladies like us with extra can be pretty and recognised by the world. Bullshit, I know xD

Argh! I don't know why I am being so emo and upset about all these beauty pageants crap over here. All the while, I do not even care a shit about 'Who is the next Miss Malaysia?' 'Who is the next Miss World?' 'Who is the next Miss Earth?' and the worst would be 'Who is the next Miss Universe?' Who do you compete with? Aliens and predators from Mars, Pluto, Jupiter, etc.?

And oh, not to forget the most typical answer during Q&A in such pageants thing would be

I wish for World Peace

Girly-girly trip to Genting Highlands

Guess where was I? In a cable car to Genting Highlands with the girls Big Grin It was my first time to take this ride to go up to Genting Highlands.

Initially, the plan was to go Singapore. Later, we changed our plan to Langkawi Island and finally, to Genting Highlands Worried

I slept over May’s place so we could go Central KL to meet up with the rest together. We were not fortunate enough. As we reached Central KL, we were told that the bus tickets to Genting Highlands were sold out Surprise Unbelievable, right? Yeah, I would not want to believe it either. Later, we were contemplating on taking a cab to Genting Highlands when Hui called us. We took a bus to One Utama where we would be taking a bus to Genting Highlands. Throughout the the trip, I was feeling nauseous. Thank goodness I had mentos from Hui else I would have fainted Happy

We bought 11AM ride to Genting Highlands. Seeing we had 45 minutes for our brunch, we decided to drop by Subway. The bus departed on time. It was a comfortable ride as the bus driver was a careful and responsible person. Or maybe the seats are comfortable. Either one of both.

We were on a queue for about 15 minutes before our turn, there was people mountain people sea. And oh, there was a photography service and we were guessing the price of one photo; RM15, RM20 and RM25. We were all wrong. It cost RM40 per piece Phbbbttt

We stayed at Theme Park Hotel. By the time we reached the hotel, we were able to check-in already [it was not 3PM yet!] Winking

Our room is very far from the hotel lobby. Long journey + heavy bags = the girls were very happy to be in the room. You can tell it in the picture above.

Liquor saved for the night :D

Some camwhoring session xD

Some pictures we took at First World Indoor Theme Park :)

First World’s deco never ceased to amaze me

Being thirsty and nowhere to go to, we decided to have a drink at Starbucks Coffee Bean situated at First World Hotel. We had a few rounds of sharing specifically regarding relationships before we went for our late dinner at Kenny Rogers.

Having no fridge in the room, after we received a bag of ice cubes from Kenny Rogers’ staff, we rushed back to our room.

Well, maybe. We could not resist camwhoring after we came all the way up to Genting Highlands, could we?

The hallway that leads to our room

That night, as we were waiting for our turn to shower, we played ‘truth or dare’ game. I was the last person to shower so, after I was done, we proceeded to play more interesting games; ‘Black Magic’ as well as ‘Chi Wei’s sheep’. May and I almost killed the girls’ brains xD but still, they could not solve the games.

I was the third person to get up. The drink above was the first thing that I had –__- We could not finish it last night and therefore, not wanting Hels to bring it back [since she brought it all the way up here], we decided to finish it that morning.

Guess what I was doing?

Busy writing letters to the hotel’s management [like the cleaners would even bother reading them –__-]

Some group pictures for the morning..

..before we headed back down

I had fun most of the time during the trip. Okay, I know there were times where there was hoo-ha going around there but let’s just ignore and forget about that as those are not the main highlights we should remember for the trip. Imo, the main thing that I learnt from the trip is I regret for not knowing most of them earlier. Hui and Yee, despite of their serious looks, are so much fun to be hang around with. Also, the best thing about this trip is that we are all GIRLS and we had GIRLY-GIRLY TRIP, maybe the only and last time?

I hope not.

p/s: btw, have I told you that I went to casino and gamble for the first time? I won double the cost xD As they always said, first timers have very good fortune :)
