I was sent back to Kuala Lumpur to attend a course in Bangi for more than a week. In the beginning, I did not even want to go. I had been really stressful and depressed at the same time. Oh, my boyfriend knows really well about this. He had a hard time too.
However, after attended the training, it was not that bad after all. It was pretty much like a getaway from work, which was least expected.
The rooms we stay are good. Comparable to a three-star hotel’s rooms. They have attached bathrooms and room service everyday.
And the food? They really feed us well. Imagine five meals per day. Oh yes, five meals, approximately 2 hours in between; breakfast, tea break, lunch, tea break and then finally, dinner.
And we learned to sing Public Bank Corporate Song, the song that is played every morning at the branch that I am working. Hmmm.. but lately the song was not played. I wonder why.
We did a few role plays too.
As well as some great imaginations such as receiving a cheque with the amount of MYR86,400.00 *ka-ching*
We had some group activities too. That is my group’s creation, 5 Star Super Ho Liao Star Cruise. I know, this sounds funny.
Of course we had some interesting individual activities.
And guess what? We learned new directions but of course we were to unlearn it again. This was pretty interesting. You should try it too.
All these we did it together and who are we? We are the Bancassurance Sales Executive for the batch of September 2011 *grins*
And we are all ready for our upcoming training!

I was back in Kuching few months ago to pay my family members a visit. It was great to be home – lovely people and of course, food!
This is one of my favourite dishes back home. However, it is not as good as it used to be and that’s really sad. I hope the standard will come back again during my next visit.
You can hardly find this in Kuala Lumpur, except I found it in Taman Conaught but never got to go back there again. Therefore, I can only have it when I am back in my hometown.
This is how our Sarawak Laksa looks like. No worries for those who are staying in Kuala Lumpur as I found great ones in Bangsar as well as in Ampang. I have yet to try the one in Serdang. Lovin’ it!
Guess what this is? I found the English name for it, Foochow Burger. We call it kompia in our own dialect. Everyone’s favourite. I miss this burger the most when I am residing in West Malaysia. I have yet to find them here.
Our kuay tiaw. Not much different. Should have taken a shot of tomato kuay tiaw instead. Say what? Tomato kuay tiaw? Never seen it before? Come to Kuching and I will bring you to meet it.
Last but not least, our prawn mee. Huge portion but it comes with a big cost. If I am not mistaken, this cost RM25 for one bowl! However, it is not worth the penny as the soup is not prawn-flavour-ish. Let’s see if I can find the right one when I head back again..
But yor! My brother is heading back this weekend! Must be so fun! *pfff*

Such a super backdated post!
Anyway, that day was my last day in Sempurna Engineering & Trading S/B where I had my very first job ever since I came back to Malaysia for good last year. Time really flies. One year had just passed like that.
That was my working station and yes, it was really awesome that I had everything I could use unlike now..
This was the floor that I was working. It used to be full of people until everyone had to move downstairs. Therefore, occasionally, I was alone with no one to talk to. Oh well..
So here it is, my ex-colleagues. As you can see, majority of them are females. That man in yellow was my reporting supervisor. I am really thankful to be able to work with great and fun people like them.
