I had been through it for close to 2 years when I was trying to conceive naturally. Had shared my journey in my earlier post here.I was prescribed with support medications and given 10 days of medical leave until my pregnancy test. Actually, if you take a closer look at my blog, 2019 was wiped out as well except for Hokkaido trip.To be frank, 2020 had been an eventful year even though most of us stayed at home due to Covid-19 pandemic. I remember that things were really good in the beginning of the year. It was the second last day for us to be in Hokkaido. Unfortunately for my brother and my sister in law, it was the last day for them. Since it was an unfortunate turn of event, we had to push one of the activities forward so we could enjoy it together – kimono rental experience. We did not send in our request on this earlier so, we were trying our luck by heading straight to the shop. However, Fumoffuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17313960291969583420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-794601575605665814.post-7737024924168260152020-02-14T22:07:00.001+08:002020-02-14T22:10:51.007+08:00Japan Day 7: Sapporo
The first destination we went in the morning was to explore Hokkaido University – Sapporo Campus. The campus is opened to public but there are some rules and regulations that we need to follow. I did not know about this until I came across a pamphlet in a convenience store inside the campus. The campus is huge and beautiful! I guess the students will need to have a bike to go around the campus.Fumoffuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17313960291969583420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-794601575605665814.post-6205852978069036432019-12-28T17:52:00.001+08:002019-12-28T17:55:34.281+08:00Japan Day 6: Noboribetsu-Sapporo
We went to onsen first thing in the morning. It was snowing at that time and the sight was really beautiful. We spent about half an hour and had our breakfast before we checked out our resort.
We explored Jigokudani Hell Valley which is the source for hot springs in Noboribetsu. We hiked a bit before we bid the place farewell and continue our journey to our final destination – Sapporo. This was our last day in Hakodate and again, my baby brother made breakfast for us. Before we left Hakodate, we went to make our final stop at The World’s Second Best Ice Cream. I finally had my melon pan with ice cream which cost me ¥400.
Our next stop was Noboribetsu but we made a stop in Lake Toya for a short sightseeing and lunch. Our morning in Hakodate was really simple but lovely. We had our homemade breakfast in our AirBnB. My younger brother prepared them for us. Lovely, right? It feels like we were really at home. We did our laundry before we had our breakfast so, when it was done, we would send them to the nearest laundry shop to use its dryer to dry our clothes. The place we found was Rico Smart Laundry. We started our morning in Otaru by heading to Sankaku Market (小樽三角市場) to have our breakfast. Apparently no trip to Otaru is complete without having a fill of fresh caught seafood on rice (kaisendon). It was only 10 minutes from our hotel.
The market was not as crowded as I expected. We went to the first shop on the right. Otaru was our second stop in Hokkaido. It is a small city located northwest from Sapporo. It was about 2.5 hours of drive from Asahikawa.
Our first stop in Otaru was Yabuhan (籔半) for lunch. It is one of the best places for soba in Otaru. It was easy to find the place using Google Map. There is a parking place just opposite the store. We did not see it so, we parked at Times which is Fumoffuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17313960291969583420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-794601575605665814.post-76777651195118594762019-11-21T23:40:00.001+08:002019-11-22T23:55:37.975+08:00Japan: Day 1 (Asahikawa)
It was finally the day that all of us had been waiting for. We bought the flight tickets more than a year ago and it took us one year to plan for this trip. There were a lot of things that we had to plan since we were going around on our own especially when we rented a car to go around. It was our first family trip after such a long time.

I know I had been procrastinating to update my bog.
I started the month by attending a wedding dinner of another close friend of mine from secondary school. We were back in Penang longer than usual.
Why?
It was Deepavali!
But first, let’s have a triple date.
We met up with 2 lovely couples for dinner and then, ended it with frozen yoghurt. It was a great catch up session and am really happy for all of them because of two things.
One, a couple will upgrade soon to be parents.
Two, a friend is finally in a relationship and he is happy.
