Rubens’ Farewell@Mural

Finally, yours truly farewell party! This guy had been partying hard in that particular week. He would find any sort of excuse to get you out ie. my last week in Shanghai, my last n days in Shanghai, my last night in Shanghai, and the list goes on…

You can see that everyone had been drinking a lot. It was all-you-can-drink with 100RMB. I was pretty wasted that night. Fortunately, I had a roommate that I can trust with to send me home safely. Why not? He was pretty wasted on the previous night and I was the one who sent the big guy home safely too!

Di Shui Dong

PS: I just got back from a bar and am a little bit tipsy now but I really want to at least post one of my very backdated posts, alright?

Okay, Chinese New Year is almost over and I am still stuck in my December backdated posts, fuck my life!

Anyway, Di Shui Dong is one of the many good restaurants in Shanghai. How good is good? Wait till you come to Shanghai and you will know how good is good, ya?

So, long story short: it was a farewell dinner for one of my many friends in Shanghai. How many is many? Okay okay, I will just cut the crap. I am tipsy, alright? Be tolerant.

IMG_3955 Few of the oldest AIESEC interns in Shanghai turned up (yay!).

Some fish dish, specially ordered for our only Vegetarian.

IMG_3963 Can’t remember what this is, shit!

IMG_3961 Ooo.. My favourite! The eggplant is awesome!

IMG_3962 The signature dish and everyone’s favourite. The name of this dish? Let me try.. Fried lamb something? Don’t ask me.

The killer for the night. The guys just got fucked up!

Fumo Update #11

A friend of mine got himself a tattoo. He is super proud of it. But guess what? I am a type of person who once in a while punch the guys. Therefore, I had hit him hard a few times (oops!).

Street food after a nightout at Zapata’s lol!

It was his last few nights in Shanghai. We had Vietnamese food for dinner and ice-cream after. His pei look lol!

Ellwyn’s Farewell@Magnificent Hotel

Ellwyn was one of my colleagues; he sat right in front of me in the office. My senior; he was already in the company a month before me. Almost my saviour; he helped to search for a temporary place for me to stay in my first two weeks in Shanghai.

On 28th November, we arranged a farewell for him. We booked a room in a hotel where we would all sleep in.

IMG_3857After dinner, we ventured the hotel’s top floor: the roof! We were just trying our luck to see if the roof is accessible. It was definitely one of the great places to capture Shanghai nightscape.

What’s next? Changed, all dressed up, we headed to Windows Scoreboard for its two-hour free drinks giveaway!

Damn packed, right?

IMG_3900 That’s the guy who left the company. Ignore my red cheeks :P

Free drinks, checked! Tipsy, checked! Time to dance! We headed to Richie, one of the best clubs in Shanghai. Trust me, it is. As far as I could remember, we danced for 3 hours.

While the rest were still up for games and talks, I was knackered and therefore, the first to hit the sack lol! Anyway, the night was legen..wait for it..dary!

Thanksgiving Thursday

PS: I have an unlimited access to both Facebook. Yay! Also, an unlimited access to blog! Double yay! Gonna post all my post-dated posts while I can..

That was my first Thanksgiving Thursday. Instead of having Turkey, we had Taiwanese chicken.

DSC_7994While waiting for my Taiwanese chicken, I had BBQ at the stall next door. I love BBQ. It’s YUM!

DSC_8036Stuffed, we went to check out the park nearby. Parks in China are mostly very happening, especially at night. It is always packed with couples who come and dance their night away.

We ended the night with desserts (aka ice-cream!) and believe me, I really had fun that night especially the fact that I celebrated this day with all my colleagues.

Selamat Datang!

It has already been six months since I left my home country to Shanghai. It ain’t easy to come this far and finally.. Finally (!!!), I am catching a flight back to Malaysia in 23 hours.

The thought of going back at this period of time gets me worried, both work and personal. Anyway, it is going to be all good, ya? However, it is sad to not be able to meet all my beloved friends :(

Maybe they should come to the airport again when I am leaving for Shanghai?

Anyway, there is one thing that I am more worried about now.

It is so cold in Shanghai-Hangzhou but blardy hot back in Malaysia!

How shall I wear?!

Super Yanchang Road!

It was one of the weekends that I spent with my babes. We had an amazing time together. Not to forget mentioning meeting up with this cute Chinese boy who is much younger than me.

Spending the weekend with my girls was awesome! We did some shopping together. How funny it was to go all the way up to the north to buy stuff that I can find anywhere…

Joining the crowd when Sales was going on is a bad idea. Very bad.

The damage for the week: a pair of warm boots, bed warmer, and some fooooood!
