Blood Donation Whore!

I know I had been posting up posts on my vacation in China instead of things happened around me. Well, you see, I could have just uploaded the pictures in Facebook to share with everyone.

However, just uploading pictures and not sharing the bits that I had gone through during the vacation is not enough. I like to bring my friends as well as my readers to the insight of this vacation that I had. I believe they could learn and know something, right?

Where you should go and should not go when you have the opportunity to visit China. Or what you should buy and should buy there. Or what you should do and should not do. For example, bring more batteries for your camera! Two may not be enough for those who love photography.

Well, I have a short update (apart from China Vacation posts). Yesterday, there was a blood donation campaign going on at a Temple in Kuching. It was already the second day since I caught a cold but I would like to give it a try whether I am allowed to donate my blood. Four of us went; my mom, my brother, my brother’s friend and I. And guess what? Only one of us passed the test for blood donation –__- What happened?

Me? Sick so, knocked out. My mom? She has something insert underarms to prevent pregnancy (I don’t know the name of that thing) which affect her hormones or something like that and therefore, was knocked out as well. My brother’s friend? Slept late or not enough sleep. Was knocked out as well. Left only my brother who successfully passed all the tests to donate his blood to the society. Lucky him.

Donate bloodLucky him you say? Now, does it seem to you that I love blood donation? The answer is yes! No, I am not a psycho.

I am neither a doctor nor a nurse and I cannot save lives with my expertise. However, I love to save lives and I want to. If there are things that I can do to save lives for example, donating blood, I would. I donate my blood is not just having any fun but sincerely :) Plus, I am universal blood donor. Yeap, my blood type is O Positive.

I remember I first donated my blood three years ago during a Blood Donation Campaign that was going on in my college by Pusat Darah Negara. I went alone without thinking of looking for somebody to accompany me or such lol My friends? I cannot remember where they were at that time lol I remember clearly that, a month or two after I donated my blood, I received a news that this boy lost a lot of blood and that he really needed blood type O immediately. Guess what I did next? There were contact numbers and so I tried to call the numbers. I told my friend about it and he actually prevented me from doing so as it had not been three months since the last time I donated my blood. I listened to him but still trying to call in the numbers. Well, just to tell them the code of the bag of blood that I donated few months back lol

Unfortunately, I could not reach them.

I am a blood donation whore, no? lol
