Banjir!

‘Blame the government’ is a notorious line when things do not go the citizens’ way.

Below are the pictures that were taken in my hometown, Sibu.

This is one of the worst nightmare of the townsfolk. To make it worse, it happened during the most happening celebration in town. You could hear people cursing and blaming the government here and there.

For those who do not know much about Sibu, Sibu is rich with rich townsfolk. This place is infamous with gangsters’ history as well. It plays a part as the gangsters’ dock. Nevertheless, the people are still warm-hearted and friendly though they may not be that helpful, sometimes.

You should try celebrating Chinese New Year in Sibu as almost all the people living here had the same virus – kiasusm

The fireworks were put off non-stop for more than one hour even before the clock struck twelve –__-

However, a few bad incidents happened (to my knowledge). Same situation but different endings.

One got himself killed when he was trying to check on whether the fireworks were lit on. His head got exploded.

While the other one suffered severe injuries. His right eye got exploded.

Isn’t it sad that those incidents happened during one of the most celebrated festival in Malaysia?
