Brisbane: Day 20

The boyfriend made a plan with his friend, Sam, to visit University of Queensland together on this day. UQ is a top university in Queensland. We took CityCat, a well-known public transportation on Brisbane River, to the Campus.

I have always known that universities with campus are huge but I didn’t know UQ is more than that ‘huge’. Also, UQ is famous of its Great Court, its Business buildings.

I was told by the boys that they saw the picture above in UQ’s brochure lol How I wish Taylor’s Business School is something like The Great Court as well. Sigh.

Before we continued to explore more, we decided to fill our stomachs at one of UQ’s cafes.

We went to visit UQ’s lake after we filled our stomachs. But guess what? I didn’t know UQ has more than ONE lake. Some more, they are NOT mini mini lakes O.o

Ain’t the lakes beautiful? I wonder if they are just ONES of the lakes of UQ. There should be more lakes I presume. We did not finish exploring the campus, in fact.

Still, it is far better than having a College or University with just a building :(

Anyway, we didn’t end the day just like that. We went to watch our very first movie in Australia. Yes, both the boyfriend’s and my FIRST movie in Australia. In my case, I understand of me having to watch my first movie in Australia but my boyfie?

Having to study in Brisbane for almost six months and have not gone to cinema to watch movie for once lol
