You did a lot of good deeds for the person. Then, only that one time, you had to be the bad person and from then onwards, the person deems you as the devil in disguise.
I believe most of you had encountered or may still encountering such people around you – at work, circle of friends and even in the family.
Let’s face it!
We are not born to please everyone around us. In order words, we are not being responsible to make them happy. To make them fulfilled. To make them satisfied.
I am not saying you should stop being kind. I am just sharing that we should not be too kind to people who are self-centre, expecting to receive and not giving at all. These are the people that you should not be too kind to.
Trust me, I learned this the hard way – to the point that I was being isolated. I was sad and miserable. I doubted myself and I reflected upon my actions over and over again. It did not make sense if I had done it the other way.
That was when I realised that a person who only remembers that one thing you treated him or her otherwise no matter how many good deeds you had done for that person, is a person whom you shall not to too kind to.
That was when I realised that I am the only one who can save myself from the misery.
That was when I started not to give a shit about what the person had talked behind my back.
And trust me, I am much more happier to get rid of such negativity from my life and focus on those who trust me and whom I can trust.
