Internet Connection is Back!

Finally I got my own internet connection back! Not today. Not yesterday. I do not even know when. Streamyx did not contact me. Damn them! Don't care lah! As long as I got my own internet connection back, I am more than satisfied. Now I am able to download a lot of stuff. *grinning*

Fwah! It is almost 5.30 in the morning and I am still here, blogging. Was watching Naruto all the while after the phone call. Two more hours to go before he wakes up. I am so gonna listen to nice musics from him! XD

Beyond Expectation

In my previous entry, I was saying that my housemate, Justin, was being robbed, right? Actually, the truth is, he was not robbed. He and his friend were threatened by some random guys who suddenly approached them. Where? This is really beyond expectation.

It actually happened in KLCC!

People out there please be careful. Even something like this can happen in KLCC.

THIEF

Do not be deceived by an old nice looking man. They may be a thief!

As I was coming back from 7/11, I bumped into this old man outside my house. He was just about to leave my house. I saw him holding my pencil case! He told me that he was looking for a person called 'Miss Chong' and thought that she is staying in my house! Blardy no way! Before he left, I asked for my pencil case back. Then I saw him holding my umbrella but I did not dare to ask from him further. Who knows he will use it to hit me?

I am fortunate to be fine. However, my housemate's handphone had been stolen..

Another tragedy, Justin, another housemate of mine, he was being robbed and now we do not know where he is. His parents could not contact him after he reported to his parents.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Went to watch the movie at Sunway Pyramid. Thought either the tickets were all sold out or we would have to sit the first few rows. Fortunately, not only the tickets were not sold out but, we got great seats! We were so lucky!

The movie was great. I love it! However, that boy fell asleep a few times.

After movie, we went to Sushi King for dinner! Fwah! Japanese cuisine! Syok!

Something About Health

I found this Q&A interesting. I guess some of you have read it but what the heck? I will just post it up here. XD

Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it. Don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer. That's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap.

Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?
A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a MIXED GRILL can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up!

Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.

Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain. Good!

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!! Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?

Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A : Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.

Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: Are you crazy? HELLO!! Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel-good food around!

Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.

Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape! Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets. And remember: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride"

Thank You

It was fun and relaxing in Genting Highland. Thank you for bringing me along.

The air is great. The scenery is great. Gohtong Jaya is great. The house is great. The nap was great. Mahjong session was great. Cards session was great. The atmosphere is great. The meals were great. Everything is GREAT for me.

The most amazing thing was the sky at night. The stars were mesmerising. Saw Polaris and made SOME wishes. I am greedy! I will feel sorry for myself to make A wish only.

The time we spent together along with your friends was indeed great.

No Updates

I have not been updating my blog recently. Sorry about that. My schedule was too tight. How tight?

First, I had to prepare for Accounting for Standards and Regulations' individual assignment which almost killed me. Then, Accounting for Business Combination's test. Later, I had to rush for Macroeconomic's second assignment which I have to write 2,500 words. The previous one which consisted of 1,500 words almost took my life.

Fortunately, I managed to survive with this one. I started my research on Monday and managed to start my assignment with Introduction. On Tuesday, I managed to type 1,000 words and I finished my assingment just now!

Why am I rushing? Well, I will be going to Genting Highland later! XD Erm, will be back tomorrow.

For your information, I will be having my Final Examination in a week time.

Dinner from Cheras

It was around 8.00pm when she woke up from her nap. Initially she wanted to do revision for Accounting for Business Combination. She was sick so, she took her medicine. Unfortunately, 2 of the 4 medicine has sleepy effect and she was infected. There she went, to her bed.

She planned to cook for dinner but due to her bad condition, she was disallowed to do so. Plus, she was lazy to go out to eat. Furthermore, she did not know where to eat. That's when the food came all the way from Cheras.

It was really sweet of him. She was indeed touched.

Mothers Day Surprise

It has been so long since I last updated my blog. Overstressed with Accounting for Standards and Regulations plus, I am totally sick. =.="

Anyway, as I had promised, the Mothers' Day surprise that I had planned with my daddy.

That day, my younger brother was very annoying. His curiousity was aroused by my mysterious plan. He called me 3 times; when I was at home, when I was on the way to LCCT with Chung, and when I was with my dad in Kuching.

My dad and I went to the mall earlier than the rest. He said he would give me a miss call when they reached the place. Since I had much time to waste, I went to look around and bought a lighter and an anklet (the one I am wearing now XD).

Received a call from my dad. He asked me get ready as they would reach by 5 minutes. Soon after I received a miss call from my dad, the mission began!

When I opened the door, my mom was completely dumbfounded. I approached her and gave her the present and a hug. We almost cried!

While we were eating, we were discussing about the plan and behind-the-scenes.

Feedbacks:
  1. From my brother: Your lies were too fake already! I could guess that you would be coming back for Mothers Day. (Fyi, I told my brother that a friend of mine would be going back to Kuching and that I passed the Mothers Day gift to her.)
  2. From my mummy:
  • Your daddy would never want to have dinner in Japanese restaurant. Eventually, you were the one who suggested to have Japanese cuisine.
  • I was so angry when your dad said he was going to pick up his friends instead of going to the restaurant together with us.

My brother and mummy

Before that, let met show you the Mothers Day gift that Dominic and I prepared for mummy two years back.

Yeap! It was this BIG card! All the way from West Malaysia to Kuching.

My phone was way smaller than the card

Same goes to my traveling bag!

Fetching my brother from school. Camwhored with my mom while waiting for him.

My brother drove my mom to a bank. Camwhored with my brother while waiting for her.

Later, my brother suggested to bring me to eat ice-cream. It was on him!

My brother's treat!

The shop rears tortoises!

Around 4.30pm, it was time for me to go to the airport to catch 5.35pm flight. Unfortunately, AirAsia retimed my flight to 8.30pm so, I went back home and took a nap. I woke up around 7.00pm, showered and went for dinner. My brother drove me to the airport around 8.00pm. I was so shocked when the flight retimed to 9.15pm! >.<

Reached home around 12 midnight. However, I did not regret going back Kuching for Mothers Day. I really hope it was one of the best Mothers Day that she ever had.

I love you, mummy

The Misery

A lot of people asked me regarding the surprise that I planned for Mothers Day.

I had been busy for Accounting Standards and Regulations' Individual Assignment which falls on this Thursday.

Then it will be Macroeconomic's 2nd Individual Assignment and Accounting for Business Combination's mock test.

I will blog on the Mothers Day's surprise when I am free.

Better off to my studies now..

Happy Mothers Day

M ... is for the million things she gave me,

O ... means only that she's growing old,

T ... is for the tears she shed to save me,

H ... is for her heart of purest gold,

E ... is for her eyes, with love-light shining,

R ... means right, and right she'll always be.

Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER,"
A words that means the world to me.
-- Howard Johnson (c. 1915)

Some Motherly Advice...

  • Always change your underwear; you never know when you'll have an accident.
  • Don't make that face or it'll freeze in that position.
  • Be careful or you'll put your eye out.
  • What if everyone jumped off a cliff? Would you do it, too?
  • You have enough dirt behind those ears to grow potatoes!
  • Close that door! Were you born in a barn?
  • If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
  • Don't put that in your mouth; you don't know where it's been.

Gift for my mother...

The box

So sexy and sweet! I can't wait to see her reaction when she saw this! XD

I just could not believe that I am going back later. I am able to see my parents and my brother! I am really happy! The thought of celebrating Mothers Day with my mother is really exciting!

p/s: Chung is fetching me there. So sweet of him.

Double Dates?

Yesterday was really fun! I really enjoyed hanging out with May and the boyfriends.
  • Issue regarding taking money from a boyfriend. This is really a hot issue! Guys would not want their girls to think that they are useless while the girls would not want their guys to think that they are money suckers.
  • Siew Jhoong mengada-ed in the car.
  • Spiderman 3 available only at 12.00 midnight! O.o Therefore, we decided to watch 28 Weeks Later which will be aired at 7.00pm.
  • Had a great experience in La Senza! Tried on the lacey, sexy, cute night gowns which I wanted to buy for my mother as a Mother's Day gift.
  • Chung got his new necklace.
  • Bumped into Ken and Yunn in McDonald's.
  • Bought Caramel Popcorn Combo (Large) which turned out to be 2 large drinks and 1 large popcorn! Both Chung and I were O.o
  • The guys mengada-ed again. May and I really sweatt.
  • Chung bumped into a red-cool-hair-style-looking-guy who came out from the toilet.
  • Siew Jhoong were not layan-ed by both Chung and I. So sad! Ask May for more information about this. XD
  • The movie was a bit boring but overall, it was nice. Oh ya! It got no ending.
  • Steamboat for dinner in Taman Connaught. We had a very efficient waiter who do not get paid.
  • Reached Sri Petaling.
  • The weirdest thing to do: Stopped the car at the side of the road, thinking of alighting the car to 'keng kai'. O.o
  • Went to Kinrara (mamak) instead.
  • Interrogating Siew Jhoong by Chung. O.o
  • Interrogating Chung by Siew Jhoong. =.="
  • Wedding plans by the guys. May and I were O.O Looks like guys nowadays are more desperate to get married than girls. =.="
  • Around 3.00am: It was time to go home.
I am glad that each and every one of us had fun.
